A very diverse array of cakes has been requested this month, and it’s been a joy to make every one of them. Trying new things has been petrifying at times (the pressure of getting gold leaf right first time!), but it’s great learning all the time.

A good friend of mine was brave enough to be my first paying customer 😊. The brief – 16 vanilla cupcakes with lemon buttercream used to decorate them, however I wanted to use it. A great opportunity to practice piping flowers that I hadn’t done since May!

Last Sunday my brother and sister in law got married at the gorgeous Gosfield Hall in Essex.
