Behind the scenes

I’m Laura, a home baker who loves creating delicious bakes for others to enjoy. I have always liked baking, but really caught the bug (figuratively speaking!) a few years ago and it constantly amazes me just how much you can do with a few ingredients and a sprinkle of patience. I love how a bake has the ability to lift someone who is struggling, celebrate an achievement/milestone/significant event, show appreciation to someone or simply facilitate a long overdue catch up with a friend accompanied with a warm beverage.

Based near Paddock Wood in Kent, I am a wife and mum of 3 who now like to test my abilities/develop my skill repertoire each year when their birthday comes round.

Why Bakeaboo? My mum called me Boo from the day I was born to the day she passed away so this is in precious memory of her.
